The North Atlantic Azores Sea Farming (NASF) hatchery is currently under study for the future production of sea cucumber juveniles using clean and green Australian technology.
Planned to include advanced broodstock holding, spawning, incubation, larval culture, and juvenile rearing systems, the facility aims to ensure consistent, commercial-scale production.
Once established, juveniles will be reared in land-based raceways before being released into NASF’s designated grow-out areas, promoting a sustainable and efficient aquaculture process.
